The name of the company is derived from its location, which symbolizes purity and freshness.
The project consists of two joint stock companies viz.

- SILVER LAKE FOODS PRODUCTS LIMITED
Both are unquoted public limited companies. Silver Lake Foods Limited owns 100% equity in Silver Lake Foods Product Limited. Both the companies market their products under a common brand name KIMS.
The company has the most modern facilities to produce following quality products:

- Hard Boiled Candies
- Deposited Candies
- Bubble Gum
- Chocolate Bars
Besides the above mentioned production facilities, the company has a complete in-house printing facilities.
